Once the free app is installed on your device, you need an IPTV service provider (subscription) to activate the app. They will provide the activation codes and login credentials. It really doesn’t matter where you start first — download/install the app first or get the IPTV subscription first.

The IPTV service provider delivers live premium channels including on-demand content the app connects to so that you can watch TV online. Just keep in mind that the app itself is neither a subscription nor a standalone TV app.

How to Install SO Player on Your Device

UDATE:SO Player Firestick instructions have changed a bit. Unfortunately, SOPlayer can no longer be found in the smart TV app store. I could never find this app inside my Samsung smart TV app store. However, I could find the Nora Go app but not anymore. If you can find the Nora Go app inside your smart TV (Samsung or LG), you can install it. The IPTV service for NoraGo where you can the subscription can be found HERE.

As for SOPlayer, you must now sideload the Soplayer apk for Firestick. But before you can that you must download/install the Downloader app. All instructions and steps are provided in the video tutorial further down.

SO Player App vs. NoraGo App

The SO Player is a premium IPTV app very similar to the Nora Go app. Without getting too technical, both apps connect to the IPTV service that you choose to watch TV online. Some IPTV service uses Nora Go and some use SOPlayer which has been more popular as of late.

This popularly comes at the expense of the NoraGo app that has been experiencing issues when using some devices. This is why it’s already best to start with the IPTV service rather than the app. The SO Player Download requires extra steps. You need to install the Downloader apk before downloading SOPlayer.

Don’t worry, I provided some video tutorials below on how to install SO Player on your device. The SO Player app download isn’t hard to do. You can use this app the same way you would use the NoraGo. In fact, you can keep both apps if you want. This is not to say Nora Go is such a bad app. However, should you experience an issue when using certain devices, try installing the SOPlayer app to see if the issue gets resolved.

So Player Subscription

Actually, the So Player subscription comes from the IPTV service. They activate the app when sending your activation and login credentials via email. This is why you should start with the service first. They have all the information and instructions on their website including download links. Some have free trials or $1 trials and one or more subscription packages.

Preparing How to Download So Player on Firestick or Firestick 4k

Before you can download the SO Player app to your Amazon Fire Stick, you must first download what’s call the Downloader app. Why is this necessary? Because the free app can no longer be found in the Play Store. You must now sideload the app which becomes the apk. Hi guys. In today’s video, I will show you how to download SO Player on Firestick 4k. The premium IPTV player for your Amazon Fire devices. We can download the app… be sure to go to your Settings >> Device Developer options and turn on “Apps from a known source.”

The second thing is to download the Downloader app. So you want to go to Search on the left side of your screen and type in the keyword ‘Downloader’ and download the app. Now that the downloader app is installed, we can now proceed to the downloading process. So to start, open the Downloader app. Go to Settings and put a checkmark on ‘Enable JavaScript’.

Then jump to ‘Browser’ and type this in… bit.ly/soplayer. Hit ‘Go’ and it will download the app for you. After it’s done, click on ‘Install Now’. That’s it… done. Hit the ‘Home’ button on your remote. If you can’t see the app in the ‘Home’ screen, pull down the ‘Home’ button on your remote. Center button to choose ‘Apps.

Scroll down and look for the SO Player app. So it should look like this (hits the three-line button) on your remote to show the options and choose ‘Move to Front’. Now hit the home button on your remote. Now that the app is on the home screen let’s go ahead and open it up to activate the SO Player app. Go to ‘Pin Code’ and type in the device link code given to you when you place the order [IPTV subscription].

At least not by connecting the Firestick to the HDMI output port on your laptop or desktop computer. There’s an article you can Read Here that explains this further. Hi guys. In today’s video, I will show you how to download SO Player which is a premium IPTV player for your Android devices.

Start off by opening the Chrome browser. Now before we go to the URL, click on this first then download. Then in the URL, type this in… bit.ly/soplayer

Now, wait for it to finish. Once done, press Home on your remote. This time, open the File Manager. Your interface might look different from mine, however, it looks like.

Press Home first. Then Local or Root folder. Then look for the Download folder. Select soplayer.apk

Move down and hit install. If you get a prompt [popup window] to Clean, delete or remove this apk, just do it [click ‘Clean’ button]. We can now open the app.

To activate the SO Player app, go to Pin Code and type in the device link code given to you when you placed the order [to subscribe]. Hit the next [button]. The same goes for the Provider ID.
